It's so absurd to see all these people tear apart Rosen for having rational beliefs. Who are you to tell teenage kids, who are making billions of dollars for others that they shouldn't be paid? Even if you disagree with his beliefs, to call them immature is patently absurd. Unless there are other comments from Rosen for which I am not aware. He's even said that he's trying to take a quasi-stand because he knows so many other kids don't have the resources and money his family has. To me, that's much more courageous than having him be some know-nothing person going through life without questioning anything. And don't give me the BS of "oh they get scholarships." Yeah, I got one too. Doesn't make it anywhere near enough, when people make millions of dollars off their backs. Spare me.

I get if you were just reporting what scouts had told you, but to act holier than thou over a young kid, who is actually trying to do right is really ridiculous. And no, I'm not a UCLA fan.

@Real Skins Fan But you've shown in the past that your posts are really dumb to say the least. So, I really don't respect your opinion when the entire scouting community is enamored with Rosen. He is a helluva lot better than Cousins (and Wentz for that matter). But keep living in your bubble, I really don't care or have time for you.

@Desperate_Eagles_Fan

He's a below 60% completion QB with a mediocre 2:1 TD/INT ratio.

@Real Skins Fan Idiots like this again. Why the @#$@ is it so hard for people to understand that completion % isn't completely on the QB? His numbers as a freshman was amazing, and as a sophomore with a destroyed shoulder playing with a completely depleted supporting cast (star RB, WR, and TE all left for the NFL) played very well. Stupid "fans" basing everything off of stats. I smh @ complete idiots like you. What a loser.

@Lol ok Listen dummy, it's not about what his CURRENT skill level is; it's about his projected level in the future. You can look at simplistic stats like win-loss record, if you want. But don't try to act like you have a clue as to what you're talking about. You act as if Cousins and Wentz are these incredible QBs. Wentz showed me very, very little this year aside from the first couple weeks. And Cousins is a nice QB, but he's never going to win a Super Bowl. Rosen actually could. He has an elite arm, great size, accuracy, touch, etc. So yeah, I'll take Rosen over Wentz and Cousins any day of the week -- and twice on Sunday.

@Mark

Because while he's a great talent he's not that great of a QB. The Dude only completed 56% of his passes last year and in the college game that is extremely low for a QB who expects to play in the NFL.

I still don't understand when Walt says Bortles doesn't care about football and that all he does is party. Even though Jax isn't a huge market, there would be reports of @#$@ like that happening. There just is no indication of what he says. A link would be nice but I doubt any exist. He has never offered any proof other than hearsay. I don't think he's all that good at QB, but to suggest that all he cares about is partying is taking it too far in my opinion.

I too want a source on this. It's blatantly slanderous and only being used for click bait. No substance whatsoever. Maybe it is an assumption because he came from UCF? Regardless, it's stupid and statements like that destroy credibility. If you want to say another down year for Bortles might make the Jags look elsewhere, then I'm fine with that but don't just make @#$@ up.

@DTG I have heard no such thing either about Bortles being a party animal. I dont like him as a player, he is very overrated and becoming a bust. But it does sound like rumors and SLANDER, about a guy I have never heard any such thing about. Walter can be a A-hole though, and very arrogant at times, but I would like to see proof of this what he is saying about Bortles. Its down right Slander if he cant prove what he says. Jerk.

Steelers at #19...are you drunk?!

Do you guys ever get tired of predicting that they're going to draft in the teens and year in and year out being completely wrong every year?!

@jtm12180 u stupid. The steelers are an old team that is getting older; they are bound to start losing at some point before they start rebuilding.

@thefootballstatguru - that "old" bs is 5 years ago now, come up with new material. Pitt has been consistently getting younger every year. Jones was a bust and they OLB 1st round

You realize there's no AFC North team in the playoff ranks in this draft?

There's three AFC South and two AFC East as well as one AFC West team in the final 12. At least all four divisions of the NFC are represented in the final 12.

"Josh Rosen was once the projected No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, but he's been passed by Sam Darnold. It also must be noted that NFL coaches and owners are wary of the sort of things Rosen has discussed to the media. However, he's young and could improve his thinking."

His thinking in the media isn't the problem. His inaccuracy on the field is. He's a massively overhyped nothing of a QB.

Also, stop with the @#$@ing stupid @#$@ about a RB to the Redskins. They were 9th in ypc this year. The problem is playcalling. The Redskins were 6-1-1 when they called 20 or more runs. They've got 5 RB they like, none drafted before the 4th round and 2 were actual UDFAs. It's a low value position and McCloughan is too smart to do stupid @#$@ like taking a decent college RB in the 1st round.

It would be like the Browns to pick @2 next year.  :-(.  But I don't feel like they will.  Maybe in the high teens.  And Rosen would be a MAJOR risk with his injury and loud mouth.  No thanks.

And the Bible said: "The order of this 2018 NFL Mock Draft is random. If you complain about this order, you cannot read!"

Then God struck down the lowly commenter to the depths of Hell.

Steelers should chose QB, or really anything, over WR which they are stacked at.

Ben R has hinted at retirement, and Jones is one of the worst QBs in the league. They need a QB to groom / replace Ben when he retires, if Jackson is there I think PIT takes him.

Other options are RB, ILB, and DE due to contract issues.

"Blake Bortles has been an utter failure thus far. The Jaguars will give him another year, but they can't feel optimistic. Bortles doesn't care about his professional career, as he is more concerned about partying than improving the mental aspect of his game."

I am not a Jags fan at all, but this statement is horribly wrong. Bortles was great in 2015, but got sacked too much in 2016. Is it really his fault that multiple top 5 picks at OL haven't panned out? The guy doesn't have a chance. Still, he hasn't been an utter failure. The management has by wiffing on top 5 pick after top 5 pick.

@DTG bortles was not "great" in 2015. he's the king of the garbage time stats. if he were "great", he'd have his team in at least a position to win most games. he's the reason why they usually are out of games ..

@DTG And Bortles was by far their biggest top-5 whiff. He was actually very poor in 2015 (as opposed to being downright awful in 2014 and '16). According to ESPN via Football Outsiders: "Bortles threw for a tied-for-league high nine would-be interceptions that were dropped by defensive players last season. If you account for those and remove picks that came off deflections, Bortles might have thrown for a ridiculous 26 or more interceptions in 2015." So in reality DTG, it is your statement that is horribly wrong.

I watched Josh Allen's tape, and he's @#$@ing terrible. Just like Paxton Grinch in the 2016 draft, overhyped because he has measurables and athleticism, but nothing else at all. Jake Browning, Deondre Francois, Brett Rypien, Kyle Allen, Tanner Mangum, Trace McSorley, Luke Falk, Brent Stockstill, hell even J.T. Barrett are all much better options. I don't know a team stupid enough to take Sam Hubbard, Tyquan Lewis, and Bradley Chubb over Clelin Ferrell, Josh Sweat, Harold Landry, and Malik Jefferson. Or a team stupid enough to take James Washington over Equanimeous St. Brown, Jauan Jennings, Antonio Callaway, Deon Cain, and Courtland Sutton. Mitch Hyatt is a better prospect than Mike McGlinchey. Byron Cowart is a massive bust and is a late-round prospect unless he goes full Nick Fairley mode this season. Bo Scarbrough isn't going to be (and shouldn't be a 1st rounder when: a. Derrick Henry was a 2nd rounder in a much weaker RB class and b. Scarbrough probably isn't the best RB prospect on his team. Brock Ruble sucks. Derrius Guice is overrated along with Scarbrough. Da'Ron Payne, is a lot better than Jerry Tillery.

Calvin Ridley is a definite first rounder, but top 5 pick?  His production dropped off with a true freshman QB under center this season...but he needs a bounce back 2017 production wise to approach the Top 10.
